Mr. Barreras passed away, on March 31, 2014. He is predeceased by his mother, Elsie Caire.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; sons, Joseph (Paula), Ben Michael, Marcus (Holloway); daughter, Jessie; eight grandchildren; sisters: Erlinda, Mela, Marian, Elisa (Ray), and Dorella (Larry).
Abentino's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Friday at San Jose Mission, Los Duranes. (2110 Los Luceros Rd. NW 87104) at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Saturday at San Felipe Catholic Church in Old Town at 10:00 a.m. followed by a burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Francisco Dimas, Asher Barreras, Ben Henry Barreras, Vincent Gutierrez, David Sedillo and Richard Beserra. Honorary pallbearers will be Elisa Dimas, Leah Barreras, Marissa Pino, Alix Barreras and Sierra Barreras.
