Agueda Candelaria

Agueda Candelaria, 95, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2019 surrounded by her dear and loving family.

Agueda is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Macario Candelaria, and her sons; Joe Candelaria, Jerry Candelaria, father and mother Felicito & Catalina Rael, and her brothers; Inez Rael, James Rael, Juan Rael, Bernie Rael, Pete Rael.

She is survived by her children; Gilbert & Francis Candelaria, Richard & Soledad Candelaria, Victor & Dorothy Candelaria, Leroy Candelaria, Karl Candelaria, David & Doris Candelaria, Dolores Amaya, Mary & Audrey Duran, Gloria Bentacu, Stella Candelaria & Veronica (Elaine) Paiz, Luisa Candelaria, and daughter in law Rafelita Candelaria, she also helped raise her 34 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Agueda was born in Yrisarri, New Mexico and lived all her life in her home on Arno St.

Agueda was known for her kindness and love for everyone there was no stranger to her, everyone was welcome in her home especially during meals.

She will be eternally missed and mourned by everyone.

Agueda's Life Celebration will begin with Visitation on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 9:30 am at San Ignacio Catholic Church located at 1300 Walter St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Mass will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will follow Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Reception to will follow Burial at the Moose Lodge located at 2121 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102.

Pallbearers will be John Plakio, Riggie Candelaria, Richard Candelaria, Jr., Raymond Bentacu, Joseph Candelaria, and Martin Candelaria.
