Alfonso M. Corona

Alfonso M. Corona, 85, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Alfonso is preceded in death by his parents, Maximillian Corona, Pauline Warner; sons: Steve Corona and Alfonso Corona, Jr..

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marie Corona; daughters: Frances Edwards, Lorine Colmenero; four brothers, one sister; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Some of Alfonso's favorite past times were camping, hunting, fishing, being outside in his yard and taking care of his grass and garden. He was the best father, husband, and friend anyone could have. He loved and provided for his family. Alfonso had a soft spot especially for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will truly be missed by all those who knew him.

Mr. Corona's life celebration will begin with a visitation on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the family home.
