Angelina "Angie" Sandoval

Mrs. Angie Sandoval, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, and preceded in death by her husband, of 67 years, Al, son Angelo Sandoval, son-in-law George Montoya, and granddaughter Victoria Sandoval.

Angie is survived by her children: Alvin Sandoval and wife Stella, Adrie Maes and husband Bill, Ana Sandoval - Montoya, Alan Sandoval, Albert Sena, Jr. and wife Rosa, Bill Arneson and wife Kathy; grandchildren: Marisa Hill and husband SSGT. Christopher, Natalie Maes, Ariana Maes, Talia Montoya and Antonio Sanchez, Alejandro Montoya, Jasmin Ruiz-Sandoval, Fernanda and Alejandra Sena, Michelle Talavera, and Robert Arneson; great-grandchildren: Malachi, Nehemiah, Kalayla, Elario, Jude and special family member Albert Sena Sr.; and special caregivers , Lorena and Clara; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Angie was born in Las Vegas, NM and raised in a small ranch in Los Alamitos near Las Vegas. She attended NM Highlands University for Nursing where she met her husband Al, then moved to Toas, NM to begin raising our family, then settled in Albuquerque.
Angie was the matriarch and soul of our family; and well-known for her kindness, generosity, hospitality, wisdom, homemade bread and red chile.
Angie's Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Monday, at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Rosary at 9:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW 87102. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Natalie Maes, Alejandro Montoya, Albert Sena Sr., Neal Sanchez, Geoffrey Sandoval, Davy Gallegos, Joe Navarrette and Malachi Hill. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Padilla, SSGT. Chris Hill, Jasmin Ruiz-Sandoval, Wayne Lucero, Andrew Lopez, and James Romero.
