Angelo Garduno, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 48.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Arsenio, Maria Garduno, maternal grandmother Elvira Mondragon.
Angelo is survived by his father Lawrence Garduno, mother Angela Mondragon, brother Lawrence C. Garduno (wife Susan), sisters: Renee Garduno (husband Santiago), Nichole Garduno; nephews: Santiago, Malachi, Luke, God son DeAndre. Angelo was loved by his uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Angelo was born on January 1, 1976, in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Since Angelo’s birth he has been a fighter, overcoming many obstacles in his life. He carried a sense of hope and renewal throughout his life.
Angelo's passion for old cars was not just about the vehicles themselves but the stories they carried and the eras they represented. He was often found under the hood of a classic car, his hands working deftly as he brought life back to engines that whispered tales of the past. His love for history extended beyond the mechanical, as he delved into books and documentaries, always eager to learn more and share his discoveries with others.
A staunch advocate for his native culture, Angelo's pride in his roots was palpable. He dedicated countless hours to learning about his heritage and took every opportunity to educate those around him. Angelo's Life Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 11:00 am at the VFW located at148 Mills Ave, Las Vegas, NM 87701.
