Anselmo was well known for his love for his family and his love for God. He enjoyed spending his days with his wife, children and grandchildren as much as time allowed, often opening his home to anyone that came to visit. Remembered by many for his kind and gentle spirit, loving and hard-working attitude, many friends were considered family due to his love for those around him. He loved to joke around, teasing his friends and family, up until his passing.

His love for God was found in his service to those around him and his church. He served as an usher for the church for over 35 years, taking his ministry with all seriousness and pride. He made every effort to be early and attentive, ready to help at a moment's notice. He greeted anyone that walked into the building with a huge smile on his face, making sure they felt welcomed when they arrived.

Anselmo was known for his hard work, constantly looking to improve or fix anything around his home. He made sure to stay organized and clean as much as he could.

A true man of faith and amazing example for his family and friends, his legacy will be in our hearts forever.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” - 2 Timothy 4:7
