Anthony M. Cortez

Anthony M. Cortez is now in God's Care. Mr. Cortez was preceded in death by his father, Albert Cortez and brother, Aaron Cortez.

He is survived by his mother, Florinda Cortez; brother, Angelo Cortez and wife Norma; his girlfriend of 18 years Marnie Parker; children: Jacob Cortez and wife Kasey, Jerrid Cortez and wife April, Joseph Cortez, and Aubreanna Cortez; ten grandchildren; and many extended family members. He was a loving son, father and grandfather who loved his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Cortez's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 3424 Fourth Street NW 87107, followed by a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Life Celebration Mass will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. also at St. Therese Catholic Church with Burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jacob, Jerrid, Mario and Robert Cortez, Jesse Griego and Andrew Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Israel Cortez, Jesiah Cortez, Jesus Alvidrez and Leon Jaramillo.
