Antonio "Tony" F Chavez

Tony Chavez passed away on March 18, 2014 with his mother by his side. He was 60 years old.
Tony was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He was born Oct 21, 1953 to Louisa and John Chavez.
He is predeceased by his father John Chavez; brother, Paul Chavez; grandparents, Frank and Maria Francia; grandparents, Lorenzo and Gesaria Chavez; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tony is survived by his loving son Pablino and wife Theresa Chavez; his loving mother, Louisa Chavez; two grandchildren who were his pride and joy: Elizabeth and Pablino Chavez; his aunt and godmother, Theresa Garcia; his aunt, Dolores Calhoun; his uncles: Pablo and wife Susanna Chavez, Lorenzo and wife Judy Chavez; and many cousins and friends. Tony will be deeply missed by his family.
Tony's Life Celebration will begin on Sunday with a visitation at 5:00 p.m. and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Floral Chapel at Salazar Mortuary (3rd and Lead SW.) A Life Celebration Service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am also at Salazar Mortuary. Burial will follow at Escabosa Cemetery in Tijeras, NM.
Pallbearers will be Pablino Chavez, Harry Tafoya, Claude Espinosa, Leo Francia, Ben Lovato, and Richard Frequez.
