Bernadette K. Zamora

February 11, 1974 — January 31, 2021

Our beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, Bernadette K. Zamora, was called to be home with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her mother Martha B. Zamora; sister Cindy Gutierrez; brother Lawerence Zamora; and nephew Daniel Tafoya.

Bernadette is survived by her father Joe Zamora; daughter Mariah Zamora (fiancé Najonie Mora); granddaughter AnnaLeigha Mora; brother-in-law Peter Gutierrez; sisters: Louise Tafoya (Ralph), Geralene Martinez (Frank), Juliette Alarcon (Joe); brothers: Joseph Zamora, Ray Zamora (Roberta); and also several nieces and nephews.

Bernadette was the youngest of eight children, born on February 11, 1974. Her nickname given by her eldest sister,Cindy was "Nutter Butter". She was known for her big heart and willingness to help those who were marginalized. Berna worked for APS as an Educational Assistant where she cared for children with Autism and special needs. She lived her faith openly by reading her Bible and talking about God to anyone who would listen. She loved her daughter, Mariah very much and cherished being a grandma to AnnaLeigha. Berna always loved family and getting everyone together. She now gets her heart's desire as we gather to celebrate her life and love!
