Bernice Valenzuela

Bernice Valenzuela, 86, went peacefully in her sleep to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Janurary 13, 2016.

Bernice was born in San Marical and a long time resident of her beloved Magdalena. Bernice passed at her daughter's home where she resided due to her illness.

She is predeceased by her parents Gregorio Valenzuela and Regina Rodriguez Valenzuela, Brothers; Albert Mora, Junior Valenzuela, Pete Valenzuela Sr. and sister in law Magdalena, Sister Josie Valenzuela Chavez, and Eufrasia Torres and brother in law Tomas.

Bernice is survived by her daughter Cathy Spears and son in law Bob, her grandsons; Shylo Spears and Wife Lorissa, Keegan Spears (fiancee Erika), and Quinlan Spears. Brothers; Melcor Valenzuela and wife Mary, and Ray Valenzuela. One grand daughter Tatiana Spears. Also several cousins, nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews, and treasured friends.

Bernice's Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Bernadette Catholic Church. A private Burial in Magdalena TBD.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Shylo Spears, Keegan Spears, Quinlan Spears, Randy Torres, Patrick Chavez and Michael Valenzuela.

Following the Mass, the family asks to join us for coffee, bite to eat & share some memories at our home. And to everyone who visited, called, helped, and was there for Bernice - Thank you. (special thanks to Dr. Ward and the entire staff from Presbyterian and Salazar Mortuary)
