Bertha G. Herrera, died on Monday, September 12, 2016.

She was predeceased by her parents: Benjamin and Emelia Sedillo Garcia; brothers; Jose, Perfecto, Baltazar I, Baltazar II; sisters: Salome, Virginia; and son: George Herrera.
She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Felipe Herrera; son: Phillip Herrera and wife Valerie; daughters: Evelyn Valdez and husband Ben, Anne DeFusco and husband Anthony, Phyliss Herrera, Amelia Maestas and husband Dan; and sister: Celina Chavez; 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Bertha's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary. A 10:15 a.m. Rosary will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Community, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW 87105 with Mass of Christian Burial following the Rosary at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Maestas, Phillip Herrera, Antonio Padilla, Michael Herrera, Markus Herrera, and Antonio Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Valdez and Jason Maestas.
