Brenda S. Samora

Brenda S. Samora age 65, beloved mother, sister and grandmother went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 7, 2020.

She was a resident of Albuquerque, NM and a member of the catholic community.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Leyba and his loving wife Bertha Leyba and her brother Henry Leyba Jr.

Brenda is survived by her 3 children, Stacey Rodriguez and her husband Martin Rodriguez Jr., Terri Santiago and son Santiago Samora & his wife Krystle Samora.  She has 9 grandchildren, Serrina Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez III, Jaden Rodriguez, Alexis Santiago, Marcus Santiago, Santiago Samora Jr., Marissa Samora, Gabriel Samora, Isaac Samora and 1 great-grandchild Pete Cuaron Jr. Also, Brenda's surviving sisters are Lillian Silva, Dora Lee Gardea, Gloria Montoya & Rosalie Leyba.

Brenda will be greatly missed by numerous family members and host of friends.

Brenda worked in the medical field for over 35 years and was a proud Bulldog and graduate of AHS, graduate of 1973.  Brenda enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and each one had a special place in her heart.  She enjoyed going for long drives while listening to all types of crazy music.

Brenda's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. The Rosary will be streamed through the Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory Facebook page (see the link below--a Facebook account is NOT required to view the live event.)

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Brenda's Rosary. Salazar Mortuary has a capacity of 80 people.
