Candelaria P. Baca, 92, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2015.
She is preceded in death by her husband, of 42 years, Gregori C. Baca; parents Manuel and Aurora Perea; sons Sele Baca and Robert Baca; daughters Jennie Archuleta and Patricia Romero; brothers Adenago Perea, Jesus Perea, and Antonita; sisters Rosa Candelaria and husband Gregorio, and Angelica Otero and husband Simon; and brother-in-law Antonio.
Candelaria is survived by her sons Dennis Baca and wife Lucy "Chana", Tony Baca, Ernest Baca and wife Eileen, Lorenzo Baca and wife Marjorie, and Gilbert Baca; daughter Cecilia Osborne; sisters Prescilla Peralta, Senaida Baca, and Leandra Aragon and husband Dan; sister-in-law Onesima Perea; 22 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Some of her hobbies included embroidery, crochet, cooking, drawing, and caring for family; especially children. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Candelaria's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary. Final Viewing will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Tome, NM, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m., and Burial at Tome Cemetery. Please join the family for a Reception following Services.
Pallbearers will be Barney Baca, Benjamin Archuleta, Jerry Baca, John Michael Baca, Michael Baca, and JR Romero.
