Carlos Rodriguez, a cherished family man and friend to all, passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, May 26, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Carlos was preceded in death by his mother Ana Maria Cabrera, mother-in-law Mimita and son-in-law Salvador Vargas

He is survived by his wife Maria Rodriguez, five children, eighteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, along with his in-laws.

Carlos was born on March 2, 1949, in Santo Domingo, San Luis Potosi, Carlos's journey through life was marked by his love for music, his unwavering work ethic, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life, such as buying lottery scratchers and watching soccer games.

Carlos's passion for music was evident to anyone who knew him. It was a constant companion throughout his life, providing a soundtrack to the many chapters of his story. After moving to Los Angeles, where he lived for many years, Carlos decided to follow his beloved daughter to Albuquerque. This move brought him closer to his family, which was the cornerstone of his existence. Being with his children and grandchildren meant the world to him, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.
