Charles J. Karns

Charles passed away at the age of 88. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Martha; his son, Frank; and grandson, Frank Castillo, Jr.
Charles is survived by his children: Donald Karns and wife Kathy, Charles J. Karns, Jr., Wayne Karns, Glenn Karns and wife Becky, and Frances Sanchez; his sister, Florence Keagy; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Charles' Life Celebration will begin on Thursday with a Visitation at 5:00p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the Floral Chapel of Salazar Mortuary (3rd and Lead SW.) A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church (2401 Broadway SE 87102) followed by a Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Acuna, Dennis Castillo, Martin Avila, John Lovato, Jake Sombrano, and Frank Romero. Honorary ballbearers will be Josh Karns and Margaret Serrano.
