Cheryl Ann Eaton

September 26, 1948 — September 17, 2021

Loving Wife, Mother, and Friend, Cheryl Ann Eaton, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the age of 72.

She was preceded in death by her father Harold Odell; mother Agnes Odell; brothers: John Odell, Bill Odell; and her youngest son Stephen "Sam" Minces.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 29 years, David Eaton; daughter Lisa Hendrix; son Michael "Mickey" Minces; step-daughter Melanie Ford (Trever); brothers: Danny Odell, Tom Odell; also 13 grandchildren, Whitney, Elliott, Katherine, Logan, Josiah, Wesley, Cissy, Sean, Abigail, Alex, Brandon, Koty and Andrew: and 3 great-grandchildren Ezra, Marilyn and Jayden.

Cheryl was born on September 26, 1948 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a graduate of Highland High School, class of 1966. She attended the University of New Mexico. She obtained  her bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Texas. She obtained her master's degree in anesthesia at the University of  Cincinnati.

Cheryl honorably served our country in the United States Air Force from 1989 to 1996. She trained to be a Critical Care/Combat Flight Nurse. She served during the Gulf War.

She loved spending time with family and friends. She had a passion for cooking, traveling, camping, and motorcycle riding. She also enjoyed caring for her bull mastiff dog, Kong.

Cheryl was a beautiful woman who touched so many lives.

Cheryl's Life Celebration will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Reflection of Life® Chapel inside Reflections Funerals & Life Celebrations/Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110
