Christobal R. "Toby" Griego
February 7, 1951 — July 1, 2015
Christobal R. "TOBY" Griego, 64, a life- long resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
Toby was a kind, loving and generous person who was always helpful and giving of himself. He served in the armed forces and was stationed in Germany. Toby was loved by all and will truly be missed by his family and all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Beatrice Garcia Anaya; stepfather Ralph P. Anaya Sr.; brother Crescenciano "Chris" Griego; aunts Bennie Garcia, Peggy Garcia Sullivan, and Lucinda Garcia Walyd.
Toby is survived by his children Sabrina Griego, Toby Griego, Jr.; nine grandchildren; and his siblings Macario (Mac) Griego, Dorothy Griego, Elias Griego, Barbara Anaya Garcia, Ralph Anaya, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Christobal's Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. at Salazar Mortuary 400 3rd Street SW, followed by a Rosary at 9:30a.m. and a Service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at 11:30 a.m. at the new Grant Cemetary in Carnuel, NM. Reception following at the Canon De Carnuel Land Grant Hall.
