Damion Demario Alday, aged 19, passed away on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, grandfather, auntie great-grandmother, great-grandfather, great uncles, and great aunties.
Damion is survived by his mother Crystal Y. Alday, father Jesus M. Ramirez; brothers: James Alday, Jesus Ramirez, Rigo Ramirez; sisters: Sirenia Ramirez, Amalia Ramirez; sister-in-law llubya Carrera; grandmother Hilda Alday; grandfather Jimmy Pedrego; uncle Angel Valdez; nino and nina feliz and jessica; also uncles, aunties, cousins, and friends.
Damion's bright spirit and infectious smile were a gift to all who knew him. He lived his life with a joyous heart and a passion for the things he cherished, from the daily workouts at the gym that sculpted his physique to the meticulous care he took in his appearance, always making sure to complement his style with just the right amount of bling.
Those who knew Damion will fondly remember his amazing dimples, a feature that lit up every room he entered and warmed the hearts of friends and family alike. His sense of humor was unmatched, and his laughter was a melody that will echo in the memories of his loved ones forever. Damion was the epitome of what many would call a "pretty boy," but he was also so much more; he was a beacon of love and intelligence, whose presence was a comfort to those around him.
A dedicated worker, Damion's work ethic was nothing short of admirable. He worked tirelessly seven days a week, driven by a deep commitment to ensure his family was well cared for and had everything they needed. Damion's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Service will begin at 2:30 pm. Damion will be laid to rest following the Service at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd. SW, 87121.
