Daniel Hawley Bourne passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother Clara Elizabeth Bourne, father John Rodgers Bourne, brother John Bourne, and sister Mary Bourne.

Daniel is survived by his wife Olivia Bourne, whom he was a devoted husband to for 29 years and he met in the fire department, children: Jamie Sue Blasé, Courtney Lynn Bourne, Jonathan Andrew Bourne; grandson John Blasé; son-in-law Jason Blasé; brother David Bourne and his wife Theresa along with their daughter Meagan Brace and her family.

Daniel was born on May 29, 1961 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was adopted by John Rodgers Bourne and Clara Elizabeth Bourne in May of 1962. Daniel was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. After serving his country, he began a career at Bernalillo County Fire Department in 1988. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1997. He retired in 2008 as a Battalion Commander. After retirement he joined Team Rubicon, an organization that responds across the United States and around the world to provide relief to communities that have been impacted by disasters and humanitarian crises.

He became involved with Calvary Church 20 years ago. During the years at Calvary, he responded to the calling of serving his church and became involved with Calvary's Safety Team.

Daniel's Life Celebration will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 10:00am at Calvary Church located at 4001 Osuna Rd NE, 87109.
