David Neal Eaton

David Neal Eaton, born on May 10, 1952, left this world on November 25, 2024, in New Mexico.

He was the beloved son of Flo Ellen Thomason and Joseph Bernard Eaton.

He was preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Ann Eaton, stepfather Charles Thomason, and stepmother Catherine Eaton.

David was a cherished brother to Alan, Linda, Tracy, Cathy, and Joann, and is now reunited with his brothers Joe, Paul, Steve, Chuck, and Mark.

He served in the United States Air Force and pursued higher education in nursing and clinical psychology.

David's spirit continues through his daughter, Melanie Lynn Ford, her children: Brandon, Koty, and Andrew, her grandchildren: Marilyn and Jayden. His legacy also lives on through his stepchildren: Lisa Michelle Hendrix, Michael Sean Minces, Stephen Alexander Minces (preceded in death), their children: Whitney, Elliott, Catherine, Josiah, Logan, Wesley, Cissy, Sean, Abigail, and Alexander.

David will be laid to rest, next to his wife, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 9:00 am at the Santa Fe National Cemetery located at 501 N Guadalupe St. Santa Fe, NM 87501.
