Delia Trujillo

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Delia V. Trujillo, 98 on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

She leaves behind her surviving sister Maria Emerlinda Monget, four sons: Martin (Flo), Manuel and Steve Jones and David (Nancy) Trujillo; three daughters: Helen (Larry) Chavez, Betty Roybal and Katie (Al) Perales; 16 grandchildren and numerous great, great-great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

She was born in Socorro, New Mexico to Juan and Juanita Silva, along with her eight siblings.

Delia had a long career working for the City of Albuquerque and loved traveling with her husband John J Trujillo (deceased).

While we mourn the loss of Mom, she had a long and happy life. Her circle of life has been completed.

Delia's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 8:15 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church located at 5901 St Joseph Dr NW, 87120. Mass will begin at 9:00 a.m. Delia will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow the graveside back at the church's parish hall.

Pallbearers will be Mark Jones, Dru Jones, Darrell Jones, Chris Jones, Jay Jones, Matthew Jonesand Elijah Pearson.
