Derreck Brian Baca

On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, Derreck Brian Baca passed away.

He was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico to James and Lucilla Baca.

Derreck was most proud of his beautiful daughter, Talia.

He was a successful entrepreneur and business owner who loved water sports and big toys.

Derreck’s signature smile and laugh endeared people to him. He loved to laugh and make jokes and was a big kid at heart. Derreck loved animals so much that he often talked about opening a doggy daycare center and animal sanctuary. He adored his own dogs, Jax and Cali who are a special part of the Baca family.

Derreck was preceded in death by his Grandparents Ursulo and Carlotta Ortiz, and Floriano and Eula Baca.

He is survived by his wife Michelle, his daughter Talia, his mother Lucille, his father James, his sister Brenda, his sister Andrea and her husband Larry, his in-laws Diane and Larry, his sister in-law Alyssa and her husband Stephen, his nephew Stephen and niece Amira. He is also survived by his friend and business partner, Anthony Landavazo and his beloved work family, as he considered all of his employees family.

In light of current regulations, a private service will be held for the family.
