Dolores "Viola" Anaya went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2022.
She is predeceased by her parents: Anastacio Perez and Stella Gutierrez; and husband Anastacio Anaya.
Dolores is survived by her children: Jesse and Tierza Anaya, Rick Anaya and Paula Mora, Thomas Anaya and Marsha Austin, Irene Jaramillo, Darlene and John Cordero, Christine and Franklin Trujillo; siblings: Tom and Gloria Perez, Eddie and Nettie Perez, Martha and Joe Romero, Mary Alice and James Barela; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Dolores was a retired cook for APS. She loved going to the Fiesta at Albuquerque Parishes, listening to music and dancing. She attended Duranes Senior Center, catching up with all her friends in the neighborhood. Dolores was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed.
Dolores' Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Dolores will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dominique Jaramillo, Desi Jaramillo, Richard Anaya, Jr., Nathanial Anaya, Damiano Zamora, and Nikko Baca.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Aidan Houlihan and Aidan Perea-Cordero.
