Dominic Michael Chavez went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the age of 43.
He is preceded in death by his spouse Phillip Padilla; father Rumaldo Miguel Chavez; mother Pearl Irma Chavez; grandfathers: David Chavez, Tomas Trujillo; and grandmother Stella Arias Chavez.
Dominic is survived by his sisters: Veronica Marie Arellano (Gustavo), Elizabeth Ashley Chavez; grandmother Stella Trujillo; great aunt Pauline Apodaca; Niece Mercedes Arellano; nephews: Jakob Arellano, Nathan Arellano, Sebastian Arellano; also Debbie Felton, David Chavez, Jr., Rosie Chavez, Rosa Chavez, Georgina Pacheco, Opal Chavez, Edward Trujillo, Dolores Trujillo, Alawn Rockoff, and any other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dominic was a jack of all trades. He was a handyman to many in the family. His passion was fish, fish tanks, shopping at thrift stores and garage sales. He was a jewelry lover as well. He loved to bake... He made the best biscochitos!
Dominic will be missed. He was the best brother, friend, grandson, son, and partner anyone could ask for. We love you!

Dominic's Life Celebration will begin with a Service on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at Legacy Church located at 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, 87109. Dominic will be laid to rest follow the Service at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, 87105.
Pallbearers will be Yolanda Apodaca, Thyra Chavez, Stephanie Mora, Leopoldo Chavez, Miguel Jaramillo, and Edward Trujillo.
