Edgar Carl Brown, 80, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at home in Los Lunas, New Mexico.


Carl was preceded in death by his wife Roberta (Sanchez) Brown in 2015; his parents Edd Clark and Macie Adelia (Kirk) Brown; brothers: Ed Brown of Guthrie, OK, Richard Brown of Wichita, KS; sister Mary Jo (Brown) maker of Guthrie, OK; and nephew Jameel Alkadhimi, Guthrie, OK.


He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his son Eric (Linda) Brown of Albuquerque, NM; daughters: Dawn Brown of Albuquerque, NM, Victoria Christensen (Michael) of Flower Mound, TX (currently living in Germany); brother Allen (Sheri) Brown; sisters: Carolyn (Cecil) Hamilton of Harrah, OK, Nelda Brown of Edmond, OK, Martha Evans of Guthrie, OK; six grandchildren: Shannon (Jeff) Clark, Drew (Margo) Watkins, Carson Watkins, Brady Watkins, Ethan Brown, Bethany Brown; five great-grandchildren: Kyler Clark, Hayden Clark, Austin Clark, Maddie Clark, Liam Watkins, along with an abundance of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Carl was born December 14, 1940 in Perkins, Oklahoma. He graduated from Guthrie, OK High School in 1958. He joined the USAF and served proudly over 20 years at many different Air Forces bases in the United States and in places such as Vietnam, Greece, England, and Germany. After retirement he worked at Vance AFB in Enid, OK, until his second retirement. The family moved to Los Lunas, New Mexico, where he lived out the rest of his life, always in service to others through work in his community.

There will be no public services held for Carl.
