Edwin L. Herrera

Edwin Lee Herrera, 23, made his transition into everlasting peace on the morning of November 4, 2019.

Edwin is preceded in death by his twin brothers, Andres and Jaime, and his uncle Virgil Lee Haverstick.

Edwin is survived by his mother Alejandra Herrera Lopez, his siblings which include younger brothers; Adrian and Ivan, younger sisters; Sofia and Michelle. He is also very close to his Aunt Sylvia Haverstick and her daughter Scarlett who he considered to be his mother and sister as well. His extended family includes his Aunt Gloria Haverstick, her Husband Michael, and cousins; Jacob, Michael, and Isaias, his Aunt Maria de Jesus and cousins Brandon and Brayan, Aunt Maria Guadalupe and his Grandmother Bernarda Tostada Flores.

Edwin has a unique life perspective, which is obvious through his incessant humor.  His ability to catch you off guard with a witty comment that causes immediate and many times uncontrollable laughter is unparalleled. Although his often casual attitude might fool a lot of people, those fortunate enough to be truly close to him know how big his heart is and how deeply he cares.

Edwin’s Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11:00am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St. SW, 87102. A Reception will follow at Salazar Mortuary inside the Salazar Mortuary Event Center.
