Eileen Delores Tixier

Eileen Delores Tixier, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in her home in Placitas, NM at the age of 61.

She is survived by her three daughters Cory Tixier (Danny), Alexandria Tennison (Matt), and Dominique Toups (Philip); four grandchildren Andre, Mia, Lucas, and Ayla; and three brothers Michael Tixier, David Tixier, and Tim Tixier.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Alonzo and Maria Tixier, her brother Philip Tixier, and her sister Mariana Tixier.

Eileen was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. A graduate of Manzano High School, she excelled as a student and had aspirations for higher traditional education. Eileen was a lifetime learner, with a deep desire for knowledge and a lover of books. Eileen worked in the construction industry in a number of capacities. She was a bookkeeper, an an administrative assistant, and a a project manager.

In her heart Eileen was an altruist. She lived to serve others through acts of kindness and service. She always thought of others and of of how to bring a smile to their face and she often succeeded. Eileen was a confidant to many. Your deepest, darkest secrets were safe with her, received without judgement and taken to the grave. She was incredibly tolerant and openminded. All were accepted in Eileen’s house.  Eileen had a green thumb, she loved bird watching and she loved the great outdoors. She loved her family deeply, especially her three daughters. She was the happiest when all her daughters were under the same roof or looking up at the moon at the same time. I see the moon.
