Elizabeth Liz Martinez

On Oct. 5, 2016, I lost my best friend and most magnificent gift from God. She joined her husband Phil C. Martinez in eternal afterlife. Surviving breast cancer in 2001, she was diagnosed with (AM)Leukemia in 2015.
She was a selfless loving daughter who cared for her mother & husband as their health declined. She was always there for everyone. Her will to live & love was enormous. She touched many all over the world. She is now free of pain & suffering.
She was born on Feb. 22, (Keeping my oath to omit the year) in Tucumcari, NM. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis Anne Martinez, her sister Ellen Barnard, extended family grandchildren Brandan & Corban Jew, also numerous extended family & God children.
Please join in a celebration of Elizabeth's life at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (12500 Carmel Ave NE) beginning with a Rosary Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00am.
