Emilio C. Chavez, 87, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his son Emilio Chavez II, daughter Dolores Chavez, and parents David and Ursula Chavez.
Emilio is survived by his wife, of 67 years, Cesaria Chavez; sons John Chavez (Stacey), David Chavez, Albert Chavez (Ernie), and Chris Chavez (Annette); daughters Eva Bierner (Jimmy), Darlene Chavez, and Erica Gallegos; sister Erlinda Montoya (Eusebio); 37 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Emilio's Life Celebration will begin with Visitation on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, located at 1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Final Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. also at St. Anne's Catholic Church, followed by Mass at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow Services at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be John Chavez, Chris Chavez, David Chavez, Albert Chavez, Emilio Chavez III, and Frank Nava.
