Ernestine "Tina" Chavez

Ernestine "Tina" Chavez was born on May 9, 1936 in Santa Clara, New Mexico.Beloved Mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Aunt Ernestine was proceeded in death by her son Steven Chavez and has gone to be with our Lord and Savior on November 3rd, 2017. She is survived by her children Rita Chavez, Joseph Chavez, David Chavez, Leonard Chavez, Sylvia Martinez, Carla Chavez, Liz Chavez , Michael Chavez and her 14 Grandchildren and 21 Great Grandchildren. Ernestine was a Loving Unique, Amazing and Very Honest Woman who defeated All Odds when becoming paralyzed while having nine children. Sacrifices were made but with love determination and strength she prevailed. She lived her life as a complete minimalist Who Loved all of her Children and Family unconditionally. She will be missed tremendously.

Ernestine's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Salazar Mortuary, followed by a Service at 11:00 a.m. Recession will follow Services at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 12:00 p.m. Please join the family for a Reception at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Church in the Plex 4001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
