Ester Otero

Ester Otero, 86, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, January 3, 2022.

Ester is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Marta Baca; son Michael Otero; grandson Sammy Jojola Jr., and 6 sisters: Mariana, Pabla, Elviria, Georgia, Josefine, Helen and 1 brother: Ramon.

Ester is survived by son Max J. Otero and wife Lorraine, daughter Nancy Jojola, son Gilbert Otero, daughter Isabel M. Otero.  12 Grandchildren: Max J. III, Melanie, Leanne, Carlos, Fernando, Jose, Renee, Gilbert, Michael, Atanacio Jr., Luis and Marco.  She had 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Ester was born in Socorro, NM then moved to Albuquerque, NM.

Ester’s Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary recited on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 7:30 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102.  Mass on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church located at 5415 Fortuna Rd NW, 87105.  Ester will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102.  Reception will follow in the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Parish Hall.
