Eugene Paul Stansbury

Eugene Paul Stansbury, 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020.

Eugene was born on May 14, 1938 to Paul Stansbury and Leta Chastain in Baltimore, Maryland.

Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Donna Stansbury; daughter Amber Stansbury; sister Carol Ann Miller; father Paul Stansbury; and mother Leta Chastain.

He is survived by his children: Daniel Stansbury, Michael Stansbury, Ronald Stansbury, Vanessa Stansbury,  Gary Stansbury, Robert Coffman, Darrell Coffman, Elbert Howard, James Howard,  Stephanie Sprankle, Jolene Keller, Jeanette Ridenour, Kathleen Mckeehan; sisters: Marie Hayhurst, Cecelia Duncan, Patricia Moore, Teresa Geyer; cousins: Jo Ann Stansbury Smith, Judith Stansbury Klinefelter, also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.

Eugene spent grades first through eight at St. Catherine's Academy in Benicia, CA. He graduated from St. Vincent High School in Vallejo, CA. He later worked typesetting at Vallejo Times Herald. He was instrumental in bringing Pop Warner football to Vallejo youth and financing it through Bingo. He became a Realtor in California, and later retired in New Mexico.
