Felix Campos Sanchez

Felix Campos Sanchez, a man known for his loving spirit, generous nature, and kind heart, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at the age of 82.

Felix is survived by his beloved wife and partner of 34 years Arlene Sanchez; daughter Felicia Sanchez; sons: Rick Sanchez wife Victoria, Felix Sanchez, Jr. and girlfriend Vangie; stepdaughters: Monica Johnson and husband Bill, Olivia Lopez; sisters: Prescilla Martinez, Dolores Sisneros; partner in business Bob Rivard; brothers-in-law: Leonard, Jaramillo Martin, Jaramillo, Vincent Jaramillo, 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him.

Felix was born on November 9, 1942, in Moriarity, New Mexico. His zest for life and his entrepreneurial spirit were evident to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth, joy, and success that will be cherished by his family, friends, and community.

Felix had a passion for the outdoors and an adventurous soul. He spent countless hours on the golf course, perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow golfers. His love for the open road was fulfilled with wind-in-hair motorcycle rides that brought him immense freedom and pleasure. Felix's adventurous spirit also took him to the water, where he relished the tranquility and excitement that came with piloting his own boat and water-skiing.

An avid sports enthusiast, Felix not only played softball but also actively participated in a bowling league, where his competitive yet gracious nature shone through. Beyond his hobbies, Felix was a proud and successful business owner of a flooring business, he dedicated his life to building a legacy that reflected his work ethic and values. In quieter moments, he found joy in his coin collection, a hobby that spoke to his meticulous and thoughtful nature.

Those who knew Felix will remember him for the love he radiated and the generosity he extended to all. His kindness was a beacon that brightened the lives of many, and his absence will be deeply felt by those fortunate enough to have crossed his path. Felix's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched, as a testament to a life well-lived and a man deeply loved.

Felix’s Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:00am at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third. St. SW, 87102. He will be laid to rest at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd. SW, 87121. Reception will follow inside Salazar Mortuary’s Event Center.

Pallbearers will be Felicia Sanchez, Rick Sanchez, Bob Rivard, and Vincent Jaramillo.

Honorary Pallbearer will be Felix Sanchez, Jr.
