Freddie P. Montoya

July 3, 1955 — February 21, 2022

Freddie P. Montoya, 66, went to be with our lord on Monday, February 21, 2022.

He joined his father Charlie Montoya, mother Consuelo Montoya and brothers Manuel Montoya and Rick Montoya in Heaven.

Freddie is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Louise Montoya; daughter Treeana Montoya; granddaughter Liliana Sena; brother Danny Montoya; sisters: Gloria Abeyta, Sophie Portillo, Charlene Vandenheuvel, Melita Carr, Theresa Diaz and Hope Bentacu.

Freddie was born in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He grew up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and Chama, New Mexico. He moved to Albuquerque when he started college at UNM. Freddie was a registered Architect, he took pride in all of his work. He amazed his family with how intelligent and creative he was. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going camping and playing music with his friends (The Buzzards)

Freddie will be missed dearly. He will always be remembered for being extremely caring, giving and loving to all his family and friends.

Freddie's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 8:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church located at 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, 87105. Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Visitation will take place at 10:30 am at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE  87110.

Pallbearers: Xavier Lovato, Danny Montoya, Frank Lujan, Junior Lujan, Luis Lujan, and Gerardo Gonzalez.
