Gabriel Marcos Martinez

Gabriel Marcos Martinez, 35, went in our Lord and Savior's Precious Hands on Monday, September 20, 2021.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Alondra Gabriela Bustos Martinez, father Frank G. Duarte, sister Candice Lucia Martinez, maternal great-grandparents Cipriano and Lucia Briceno, grandparents Salvador and Refugia Duarte, and aunt Josefina "Josie" Duarte.

He is survived by his mother Jessica Martinez; brothers: Isaac Ray Martinez, Cipriano Jonah Martinez; sisters:  Rene Gold and Lisa Hernandez of Phoenix, Az; baby sister Tatyana Francesca Gamez; niece Alexis Mariah Martinez; nephews: Isaac Daniel, Zacheriah Marcos, Elijah Matthew, Noah Anthony Martinez, Alexis Lydia, Nathaniel Gonzales, Jahmari Edgerton; maternal grandmother Mary Ann Paz; uncles: Daniel, David, Anthony, Jeremy Paz, Jeffery King, Alejandro Briceno, Eliaser, Cruz, Zeke, Victor, Ricky Duarte, aunts: Lourdes Duarte, Ana Lisa Saldana, Stephanie Gustophson, and Joanna Briceno Hastey.

Gabriel was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on December 16, 1985. He was raised in Santa Ana, California from the age of one. He attended Fontana High School in California. Later in his high school years he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is a graduate from Albuquerque Job Corps. He attended CNM for 5 years. He loved attending school and learning.

Gabriel you are gone but not ever forgotten...Rest easy in The Father's hands.

Gabriel's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 4:00 pm in the Reflection of Life® Chapel inside Reflections Funerals & Life Celebrations/Salazar Funeral Homes & Crematory located at 400 Third St SW, 87110. Final Viewing will take place on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Reflection of Life® Chapel. Service will begin at 1:00 pm.
