Gary Lee Plake, 68, passed away in Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela on Monday, December 18, 2017. He was born December 5, 1949 to Raymond and Maxine Plake in Miami, Oklahoma. Gary enjoyed fishing, cheering on his favorite football & baseball teams, and relaxing and enjoying life.
Survivors include his wife Indira; his two daughters, Michelle Matheson and Melissa Tyler; one son, Ryan Plake; 8 grandchildren, Chance, Cole, Jacob, Rylan, Amery, Caden, Lacey, and Sydney; 1 sister, Raelene Douglas; 2 brothers, Terry Plake and Larry Plake; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; 2 sisters, Theresa Contant and Karen Region; 1 daughter Luisana Plake.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10am at Salazar Funeral Home in Albuquerque, NM. Online condolences can be left on Gary Plake's memorial tribute at http://www.salazarfunerals.com. Memorial donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in lieu of flowers.
Gary's Life Celebration will begin with a Service on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Reflections Chapel.
