George was survived by his wife of 20 years, Wanda Bond; parents, Lawrence and Josephine Bond; son, Bryan Tapia; sister-in-law, Monica Garcia and her husband John; and nieces Krista and Alyce Garcia.
George was a supervisor and painter at Expo NM and will be remembered for his great love of Nascar.
