Gloria N. Carrillo (Lucero), 78, is now dancing to Spanish music in the heavens with her husband Claudin.
She has also joined her parents Joe M. and Maria Lucero and of course Al Hurricane.
Gloria is survived by her children; Theresa Carrillo and husband Arnold DeAguero, Frank Carrillo and wife Michaele’ Kay, her beautiful grand daughter Ashley Barela and husband Adam, grandson Matthew Carrillo, sisters; Betty Stage and Evangeline Shelland, She loved all her great-grandchildren; Sarah “Her Golden Nugget”, handsome Arden Claudin, silly Shaylie, funny Amaro, blue-eyed beauty Serenity, and of course long eyelashes Nevaeha, along with nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Gloria was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Albuquerque, where she met two wonderful friends Patsy Buttke and Barbara Gutierrez-Swiderski.
Gloria loved working at Digital and at Cardinal Health where she met many great friends. Gloria truly loved playing Bingo and going out to eat. Her favorite thing to do for people was to make taquitos and “golden” red chili. Writing letters to all her family and friends was one of her beloved past-times.
Gloria's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 619 Copper Ave NW, 87102. Mass will be held at 10:00 am. also at Immaculate Conception. Reception will follow Mass at the American Legion Post 13, located at 1201 Legion Rd NE, 87102. Burial will take place at a later date.
