Guadalupe C. Ortiz

December 23, 1931 — August 16, 2016

Guadalupe Cortez Ortiz "Lupe", 84 of San Bernardino, CA, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her son Eddie Albert.

Guadalupe is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Alberto Ortiz Jr., twelve children Jimmy Duenez, Phyllis Luis (Ruben), Gloria Galvan, Manuel Galvan, Debra Ortiz Martinez, Juanita Ortiz Marmolejo, Steve Ortiz (Carol), Melinda Ortiz Dupuis (Darrell), Eddie Ortiz II, Amanda Ortiz Maldonado (Eugene Jr.), Christopher Ortiz, and Jennifer Ortiz Maldonado (Erwin); brother Fred Hernandez; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was a loyal Dodger fan and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Guadalupe's Life Celebration will begin with a Service on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Salazar Mortuary, followed by a Reception in the Salazar Life Event Center.
