Jeanne Ann Maloof Barkoff

Jeanne Ann (Maloof) Barkoff, 63,  passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. Jeanne Ann, a long time resident of Albuquerque, was living in Denver at the time of her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rose Koury Maloof and Thomas J Maloof, and beloved Aunt Nora Koury Johnson.

Jeanne is survived by her husband Jeff Barkoff, beloved children: Dr. Jeremy Barkoff (Annie) and their three daughters, Jonathon Barkoff, sister Deborah Koury (John) and their children, Dr. Jason Koury (Jessamy) and their two children, Tamara Plummer (Matt) and two children. Jeanne Ann was very close with Dr. Lara Barkoff and the large extended family. Jeanne was very close to many members of the extended Maloof/Koury family. Erin Noel was her best friend and provided comfort until the end. Also, Buttercup her beloved golden doodle provided much love and joy. Jeanne Ann loved family above all.

She battled ovarian cancer with courage and determination until the end. Jeanne Ann was a highly ranked tennis and major college recruited player as a junior. Graduated from UNM with a BBA degree in Marketing and Management in 1983. A beautiful woman with a love for fashion, hair, jewelry, and home decorating. Married since 1983 to her husband Jeff.

Jeanne Ann's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary to be recited on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 9:30am at Thomas Aquinas Newman Center located at 1815 Las Lomas Rd NE, 87106. Mass will begin at 10:00am. Jeanne Ann will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd. NE, 87102.
