Jessie Roybal

Jessie Roybal went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 2, 2016 (the anniversary of her mother's passing) in Albuquerque, N.M.

She was born August 24, 1931 in Pecos, New Mexico to Jose Maria and Carmelita Roybal and was raised by her Aunt Refugito (Mamaito) Roybal. She resided in Santa Fe for most of her adult life. She is preceded in death by her father Jose Maria, mother Carmelita, Aunt Refugito, brother Clemente, and sister Frances Valencia.

Jessie is survived by her son Jake Roybal and wife Anna Marie, son James Roybal and wife Hilda, grandchildren J.J, Angelo, Mathew, Nic, Elisha, 13 great grandchildren, sisters Florinda Lujan (Vivian), Lucy Yrene (Dave), Viola Vigil (Jesus), Gloria Valencia (Horacio), brothers Tiburcio Roybal (Marcella), Julian (Florida), Joe Roybal Jr (Delfina), brother in law Robert Valencia and numerous nephews and nieces.

Jessie loved having friends and family over to her home and enjoyed cooking and dancing. Whenever needed, she was always there. Her family and friends meet her passing with gratitude for her love and all the special blessings she bestowed on us. Jessie touched our lives and will forever live in our hearts.

Jessie's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation on December 9, 2016 at 9:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (11 St. Anthony's Loop, Pecos, NM 87552), followed by a Rosary at 10:00 AM and Mass at 11:00 AM also at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will follow the services at St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joseph (Leonard) Vigil, Danny Roybal, Michael Roybal, Kevin Roybal, Rick Romero, Clarence Lujan.
