Jesus A. Maldonado

Jesus A. Maldonado, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

Jesus was born in Ignacio Saragoza, Chihuahua on March 22, 1944 to Victoriano Maldonado and Fransisca Vasquez.

Jesus is preceded in death by his brothers: Gustavo Maldonado, Manuel Maldonado; sisters: Concha Maldonado, Rafaela Maldonado; grandson Jesus Angel Maldonado; and granddaughter Esmeralda Angela Maldonado.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Ramona Maldonado; daughters: Lusila Maldonado, Hortencia Maldonado; brother Arturo Maldonado; sisters: Socorro Maldonado, Lilia Maldonado, Hilda Maldonado, Margarita Maldonado; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother in laws and sister in laws: Raul Y Elvira, Jose Y Vayola, Manuela Y Chago, and Emidio.

Jesus was a contractor. He built beautiful homes all over Corrales, New Mexico. He was very proud of his work. He also built his own home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jesus had a lot of love for his family and will be deeply missed.

Jesus' Life Celebration will take place on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10:30 am at the Holy Spirit Cathedral located at 1001 Barelas Rd SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited following the Visitation. Mass will begin after the Rosary. Burial will take place at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, 87121.

Due to the COVID restrictions set in place by the Governor masks are MANDATORY to attend Jesus' Life Celebration services. San Jose de Armijo Cemetery has a capacity of 25 people allowed at the graveside and social distancing restrictions must be followed.

Pallbearers will be Cesar Fernandez, Mario Fernandez, Alejandro Maldonado, Miguel Angel Maldonado, Elver Fernandez, and Alexis Gardea.
