John S. Vanderpool

John S. Vanderpool, 46, passed away on October 9, 2016 at his home in Albuquerque, NM after a long battle with cancer. John was born on November 21, 1969 in Flint, Michigan.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; daugther, Reyna; step sons: Joshua and wife Amanda and Jerome; mother, Carmen sister Linda, sister Laura and husband Ambrose, brother Leo and wife Kim; granddaughters: Kyree and Emileena; nephews: Richard, Ambrose Jr, Liam, Joseph and Luke; nieces: Alexzandra, Gabriella, Kylie and many other family and friends.

John worked at Schindler Elevator Company as an elevator technician, a job he worked very hard at. He loved life. His favorite things to do were camping, fishing, spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. As a result of his generous spirit and outgoing personality he was loved by all he came in contact with. John will be missed immensely and will live forever in the hearts of all who love him.

John's Life Celebration will begin with a visitation at 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Salazar Mortuary (400 Third St. SW).
