Jonathan Bouloy, 38, son to Greg and Kathleen Bouloy, passed into his ‘Forever Home’ during his sleep on Friday, August 9, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Jon was born on February 1, 1986, in Westminster, California, and he joined the Bouloy family when he was five years old. He was known for his radiant smile and infectious laughter. Jonathan brought joy and creativity to every aspect of his life. He valued love and spontaneity.
As an adult, Jon spent much time on the streets and was at the westside shelter when he passed that morning. He would give his last dollar or cigarette to someone needing it more than him. He was a friend to many who might otherwise not have a friend - and knew no strangers. In spite of many mental challenges which most people do not understand - he was a wonderful friend to many, a good brother, and attentive son.
A service with music and eulogies to remember and celebrate Jonathan’s life will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque (214 Locust St. at I-25 and Frontage Road between MLK and Central Avenue) followed by a reception.
Those who knew him are invited to join in remembering a life marked by kindness, ingenuity, and an enduring spirit of rejoicing.
