Jonathan Zamora, 24, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
He is survived by his parents Eric and Angie, brother Aries, sister Juliette, grandparents: Frank and Jane Zamora, Laura Day, great-grandmother Petrita Zamora, his loving girlfriend Precious G., also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jonathan was widely respected and admired for his thirst for knowledge and insatiable curiosity about the world around him. He studied all religions with an open mind and a deep respect for their teachings. His love for learning was not limited to academics; he was known for his constant quest for new knowledge, experiences, and adventures.
Jonathan was a hard working electrician. He hoped to one day take over the family business and carry on the family legacy.
One of Jonathan's many passions was his fascination with crystals. He admired their beauty, studied their properties, and was intrigued by their metaphysical meanings. His interest extended to the digital realm as well, where he was an avid video game enthusiast. He loved immersing himself in different worlds, solving complex puzzles, and engaging in epic battles. His love of music was amazing. He was a fan of every genre, music was his love language
Movies were another of Jonathan's interests. He enjoyed a wide range of genres, from the latest blockbusters to obscure indie films.
Jonathan Zamora was a unique individual who lived his life with passion and curiosity. His adventurous spirit and intelligent mind will be remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His lasting legacy will be his unwavering pursuit of knowledge and his passion for life's many adventures.
Jonathan's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 5:00 pm at Reflections Chapel located at 2400 Washington St. NE, 87110. Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm. Mass will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:00 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church located at 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, 87112. Jonathan will be laid to rest following the Mass at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. Reception will follow the graveside service at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Parish Hall.
Pallbearers will be James Zamora, Felix Zamora, Brian Day-King, Guillermo Paez, Andrew Zamora, and Brian Zamora.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Aries Zamora, Juliette Zamora, Paul Day, Keenan Day, and Giovanni Camillo.
