Mr. Lucero, 88, passed away July 15, 2016. Mr. Lucero served his country in the Army during World War II. Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Irene. Jose is survived by sons, Jesse Lucero and his wife Barbara, Anthony Lucero & friend Don Valder; sisters, Inez Fought & Dorothy Duran; brothers Richard Griego & Melecio Griego & his wife Lydia; grandchildren Jesse Lucero Jr. & wife Trish, James Lucero & wife Yvonne, Katheryn Lucero, Nicole Lucero & Alex, Jacquelin Ruiz & husband John; great grandchildren Jesse III, Andrew, Dominic and Vanessa, Katrina, Naomi, Mario, Marley, Jhene, Tyler, & Allen;great-greatgranddaughter Aria, Brother-in-law Max Tafoya & wife Fabiola; niece Veronica Sanchez who was raised as a granddaughter; & many nieces & nephews; & special friend Abi Ritz; and friend Martin Devricks. Jose Lucero's Life Celebration will begin with a viewing on Monday, July 18, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. in the Reflection of LifeA
