Josie M. Chavez went to be with our Lord on Tuesday July 29, 2014.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Elias "Eddie" Chavez and sister Lucy Hinojos.
She is survived by her sons: Elias A. Chavez with wife Annette and Mark Chavez with wife Anja; daughters: Catherine Trujillo with husband Victor and Darlene Chavez; brothers: Arthur "Sonny", Atanacio, and Stanley; sisters: Frances, Rosie, Shelia, Bernadette, and Mary Ann; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
She was a dedicated member of Legacy church for many years and she loved her home projects and decorations.
Josie's Life Celebration will begin with a Service at 10:00 am on Wednesday August 6, 2014 at Legacy Church located at 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:15 pm on Thursday August 7, 2014 at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
