Juan Sifuentes, 47, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 with his loving family by his side.
Juan proudly served his country for over 20 years in the military. He was a veteran of Desert Storm and did tours in Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
Juan is predeceased by his father, Enrique Sifuentes; brother, Javier Efren Sifuentes; sister, Julia Christina Sifuentes; and his maternal and paternal grandparents. Juan is survived by his daughter Andrea, son Jesus, grandson Isaac, mother of his chidren, Iva Sifuentes; mother, Guadalupe Sifuentes; his sister Martha Neuhauser and husband, Billy; brother Victor Sifuentes and wife Theresa; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and fellow servicemen.
Juan was loved and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Disabled Veterans of Albuquerque (2511 Utah St. NE, Albuq 87110.)
Juan's Life Celebration will begin with a Viewing at the Frank A. Salazar Chapel (3rd and Lead SW) Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 8:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (309 Stover SW 87102) followed by Committal Service at 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Victor Sifuentes, Julian Sifuentes, Raymond Sifuentes, Martin Sifuentes, Carlos Garcia, and Richard Finley. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Neuhauser, Felix Rodrigues, Anthony Finley, and Robert Finley.
