Juan Sigala-Galaviz

Juan Sigala-Galaviz, 86, went to be with our Lord on Friday, February 11, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his father Jose Sigala, mother Dolores Galaviz, daughter Maria de Jesus Sigala-Reyes.

Juan is survived by his wife of 33 years Mabel M. Sigala; sons: Jose Sigala-Reyes, Daniel Sigala-Reyes, Juan Sigala-Reyes, Mario Sigala-Reyes, Jorge Sigala-Reyes; daughters: Gloria Sigala-Reyes, Leticia Sigala-Reyes, Susana Sigala-Reyes, Carmen Sigala-Reyes, Monica Sigala-Reyes; stepsons: Placido Luciano Maldonado (Kathy), Pete Maldonado; brother Jose Sigala-Galaviz, 26 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Juan was a gentle soft spoken man who had a big heart and was loved by many.

Juan's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church located at 820 Broadway Blvd SE, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 10:30am. Mass will begin at 11:00am. Juan will be laid to rest at 1:00pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery located at 1900 Edith Blvd NE, 87102. The family would love to enjoy a meal and memories of Juan following the Burial at the Casa de Suenos Old Town Reception Hall located at 2026 Central Ave SW, 87104.

Pallbearers will be Juan Sigala-Reyes, Mario Sigala-Reyes, Placido L. Maldonado, Pete Maldonado, Shawn P. Maldonado, and Ambrose Maldonado.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Gabriel Maldonado and Julian Maldonado.
