Juanita Inez Jaramillo

May 30, 1931 — May 28, 2021

Beloved Juanita Inez Jaramillo was called home to be the our dear Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021 in the comfort of her own home, which was her last wish.

Juanita was born in Socorro, New Mexico and she resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the Barelas Community.

She is preceded in death by her husband Celedonio Jaramillo, Sr.; sons: Jack Jaramillo, David Jaramillo, Celedonio Jaramillo, Jr., Michael Jaramillo; daughters:  Inez Jaramillo, Maria Perez; brothers: Eduardo Madril, Florentino Madril, Jose Madril; sisters: Rosie Chacon, Betty Lucero; father Jose Madril; mother Elena Apodaca Madril, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was survived by her daughters: Josie Monia, Helen Jaramillo, Gloria Jaramillo; daughter-in-law Mary Dolores Jaramillo; son-in-law Harold Monia; 22 grandchildren: Jack Jr, Francisco, Juanito, Pamela, Miguel and wife Shoshana, Antonio, Angel, Steven, Nichole, Harold Jr, Justina, Elijah, Isaac, Juanita, Jacob, Charlie, Celedonio Jr, Michelle, Melissa, Ricky, Stephanie, Anthony; 23 great grandchildren: Stephanie Andrea, Lorenzo, Henry, Sophia, Raymond, Francisco Jr, Michael Juan, Destiny, David, Michaela, Ariella, Antonio Jr, Angelo, Bella, Bentley, Lilly, Anthony Jr, Amelia, Jameson, Michael, Enrique, Myranda; 1 great-great grandchild Luis Jr.; and many more family members including nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Juanita's greatest achievements in life were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She adored her family more than anything. She had the purest and most kind soul. She was always so welcoming to anyone and everyone no matter who you were, she opened her home to anyone. She always showed everyone the upmost respect and love. She always kept everyone fed and full. She loved to always have her home nice and neatly put together and would have some sort of delicious food cooking with her 89.1 music playing while dancing around the kitchen. Her tortillas, biscochitos, sweet rice, red chile, and other recipes will be missed! We can all try to make them but none will compare.

She was a strong believer and had a lot of faith and no matter what happened throughout her life she has always said "God will make a way", " Give it up to God" ,and "Leave it all in Gods hands".

She has always been our angel our saving grace and safe place and now she is our guardian angel up above. Now she's safe in the arms of her loving husband and Gods good grace.

Juanita's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Monday, June 14, 2021 5:00 pm at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87102. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Final Viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 8:00 am at Salazar Mortuary. Mass will take at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 309 Stover Ave SW, 87102. Juanita will be laid to rest following the Mass at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery located at 2957 Arenal Rd SW, 87121.

Although the family appreciates the love in sending flowers, they ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to help defray the costs of the funeral. Donations can be made to Salazar Mortuary on behalf of the family.
